Over the years, he has been able to successfully change perceptions of diners toward Indian food through his innovative dishes, thereby elevating global standing of the cuisine, today. Evolution of Trèsind is his ode to the culinary legacy of his homeland.

Chef Ritwik brings over 16 years of culinary expertise from renowned establishments across India. Born and raised in a Bengali family in the culturally diverse community of Madhya Pradesh, Ritwik’s upbringing exposed him to a multitude of flavors and traditions, igniting his passion for culinary exploration.
Initially drawn to the skies as a pilot, Ritwik’s journey took a flavorful detour when he discovered his love for cooking, inspired by his family’s gastronomic heritage and the vibrant Bengali cuisine.
Armed with a plethora of accolades and recognition for his innovative menus, Ritwik’s journey brought him to Dubai, where he now takes the helm at Bistro Aamara. Guided by his belief that a recipe comes to life with the chef’s touch of “soul,” Ritwik infuses every dish he creates with passion and creativity. With a repertoire of signature dishes featured in both printed and digital media, he now leads the culinary team at Bistro Aamara, curating exquisite meals and inviting guests to savor the beauty of his creations.
